Josh was born and raised in Wisconsin, the son of a pastor and a nurse, the youngest of 3 kids. Influenced by his family’s values set him up for a life of helping others.

After obtaining a Bachelors in Business, he went into (and continues in) non-profit work for 20+ years, coming alongside people and organizations to help them fulfill their goals and seek to accomplish their mission. During this time he also worked hard to get a Masters in Non-Profit Management.

As he negotiated the purchase or a large scale commercial building, worked out leases to national tenants and brokered a land sale for his church, a passion for real estate was sparked. It provided a perfect opportunity to marry helping people and to make an impact in a different way!

Josh has also been very handy, going back to the days of working on an old family cabin with his Dad. He can look at a property differently than most. He can see things that most real estate agents won’t see and will help his clients be prepared for buying and/or selling.

He’s passionate about coming alongside his clients, understanding their wants and needs, and helping them achieve them. He purposely has a small client load in order to give each client the focus they deserve.

When he’s not helping others, he’s a husband to Jessica and a dad to four amazing kids – one girl and three boys. The Peterson’s are also foster parents, so oftentimes the 4 kids grows to a larger number, making life a whole lot more interesting! Josh is also passionate about any sport and currently is loving being a cheerleader for his kids sports. He’s also currently rehabbing an 1890’s Victorian while living in it, which is an experience!
